This week we begin looking at the shorter chapters in the text beginning with Chapters 10 and 11. We will combine our studies of these chapters in one test, probably to occur on or around March 7th/8th.
I am attaching the chapter summaries and the study guide for the test. You can complete the workbook activities for these chapters.
This week are are concluding Chapter 9 and beginning on Chapter 10, all of Chapter 10's resources will be posted on Monday.
This week we conclude our chapter about the Judicial Branch. A test on Chapter 9 will be given next week, the study guide is posted.
We will also be looking at checks and balances in action as we look at current events. The news shows us the executive branch taking an action that is being challenged by the judicial branch. We will look at an historical example 190 years ago of the President refusing to listen to an order of the Supreme Court. Extra credit for the student who names that president.
