1. It is always helpful to follow along in your at-home workbook (Chapter 6). These notes will also be helpful.
Last week in class we did an online tutorial about political parties. I have attached the link to a tutorial on this chapter. If you complete the tutorial and print the certificate you will receive bonus points on your next test.
http://www.floridastudents.org/PreviewResource/StudentResource/119020 1. Quizlet has been updated with new words. The Quizlet site is designed to help you with vocabulary words and new phrases. It should not be the only way you are studying for this class.
2. I will post a chapter review for our new chapter tomorrow. I hope you will watch the tutorial posted earlier. 3. Next Monday we will take a practice EOC on all the material we have learned so far. It will count as a quiz grade, and data chats will be sent home to help you understand what progress you have made in the class to date. On Friday I will post a basic review of all material we have covered so far.
You should already be prepared for Wednesday's test. I am re-posting the study guide that has been available for the past week.
Here is a PowerPoint going over the last two days of class.
This is the study guide for your test next Wednesday, October 21st.. That will be your last grade of the quarter. I am very happy with the way most students are working hard in this class. We have not yet covered the part of the study guide for the Structure of the Constitution nor the Principles of the Constitution. Tomorrow after the quiz we will be looking at the Preamble again, this time for comprehension. The following two days we will cover Lesson 3 of Chapter 5 (Structure of the Const.) and the other days plus next week will focus on Lesson 4 (Const. Principles). You can be doing home study with the workbook. If you're having problems ask for help.
Here are two review videos. One is a review video I made and the other is of a cartoon we watched in class. Both thoroughly cover the material on our upcoming quiz. |
