Classes have been told to memorize the Preamble to the Constitution. They will recite the Preamble in front of the class. PreambleWe the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. I am happy to say that every period had a great first class. There is a lot of work ahead of us, though, and we need to get right to it. Over the next couple of days I will be posting frequently. A 3 ring binder might work best for this class. There are spots in class where you can leave a binder instead of carrying it around all day. I am posting here: 1. class note format sheet (you can print some of these up) 2. studying tips and 3. vocabulary. We will have a short vocab matching quiz on these words the classes of the 19th and 22nd. Look back here tomorrow for another important post.
