We have begun Chapter 3 learning about citizenship. You can always follow along at home in your workbook., I am attaching some notes we have taken in class, as well as a chapter review.
Classes have been told to memorize the Preamble to the Constitution. They will recite the Preamble in front of the class.

I am happy to say that every period had a great first class. There is a lot of work ahead of us, though, and we need to get right to it. Over the next couple of days I will be posting frequently. A 3 ring binder might work best for this class. There are spots in class where you can leave a binder instead of carrying it around all day. I am posting here: 1. class note format sheet (you can print some of these up) 2. studying tips and 3. vocabulary. We will have a short vocab matching quiz on these words the classes of the 19th and 22nd. Look back here tomorrow for another important post.
