I am attaching the chapter summary. Also, for this chapter, instead of putting words on quizlet I have created a flashcard packet for your review.
All classes watched and completed this tutorial. Due to behavior issues 6th period did not. All students in 6th period must watch this tutorial and print out the certificate at the end.
http://www.floridastudents.org/PreviewResource/StudentResource/115322 Last week I referred to a tutorial for this chapter that I forgot to post. Here it is.
Also, you can be following along at home in your workbook, we have just completed Chapter 7, Lesson 1. http://floridastudents.org/PreviewResource/StudentResource/111634 Hello fine young people,
Tomorrow we will be having a review quiz on the amendments. This will be a simple 20 question matching quiz. We did an amendment review after last week's test and most students have completed or are nearly finished with their amendment project. So this quiz should not be difficult. i will hopefully have your recent tests graded and ready to be returned on Friday. We have now moved on to Chapter 7, the legislative branch. I am attaching a tutorial that you can use discussing all of the three branches.
Also, tomorrow you will be working on the flash cards project in class. Many people have already finished and by this point you should all be nearly done. I had to remind some of you that there is a test tomorrow. I have reposted the study... for the 3rd time. I will be in a conference Tuesday through Thursday. You will test with the sub on Tuesday and work on flashcards on Thursday.
1. Test for Chapter 6 is on Tuesday, I am reposting the study guide here. Please don't wait until Tuesday morning to study. 2. Our projects or due Dec. 8. We will work on them in class today and on next Thursday, if you are using photocopied pics please bring them with you. I am attaching an example of how flashcards can look, front and back. You have the creative freedom to do this in a number of ways. A flashcard's front should state which amendment it is and what the amendment does, the back should have a picture and a helpful memory phrase. My quizlet site has examples of memory phrases, but you can make your own or search "memory phrases for constitutional amendments" to find many examples online.
I have created a review for the test we just took in class. This review points out some strategies and tips you might use to help improve your score.
